Picked up off the streets with a large tumor on his leg, no one knew where he came from. No ID, no microchip, no tatoo. He got a couple stays of being pts because he was such a nice boy and the shelter had room but his time was running out and no one apparently wanted him or could take him. We were considering fostering him (even though we already had 4 girls at home) so we drove up to Citrus County Animal Services to meet and photograph him and the female that was also there. The female got adopted right away but there was almost no interest in an elderly male with numerous tumors and a couple bad teeth. Spend some time with him and you couldn't help but love this boy. Well behaved, quiet and calm. Little did we know ;-) Originally we we're going to foster but he came in so well and behaved so well, we decided to keep him as we found it more and more difficult to let him go.
